How does it work, and how much does it cost?

For contact and free advice, call Mondays between noon and one. You can also send an e-mail to: info@carocarevard.se

For treatment with ADHD medications, the first start-up visit costs SEK 960, which includes blood samples. If you need an ECG, you pay for it yourself, which costs about SEK 400. If you already have an ECG, we can use it.

After the samples, I call, and we then discuss the conditions for drug treatment. If it is appropriate to start treatment with ADHD medication, you will be booked for a follow-up visit, which costs SEK 680.

At that visit, we set up a personal plan, including the prescription of medication and your follow-up. It is impossible to say how many contacts are needed thereafter. Sometimes, the first medicine is not suitable, and then more contacts are required.

After the second visit, membership is necessary for care at the practice, which costs SEK 280/month. The price is then SEK 680 for a 40-minute visit and SEK 180 for a 10-minute telephone consultation.

For patients with ADHD medication, one visit per year with blood sampling is required, which costs SEK 960. In addition, three telephone visits for prescription renewal for SEK 180 are recommended. Apart from that, there is no difference in pricing for patients with ADHD and those with other conditions. ADHD treatment in a general medical and psychiatric practice

An ADHD treatment starts with examining the particular problems you have resulting from your ADHD. What issues arise, and how should we think about them? How does it impact your functioning at home or at work? What do you find most frustrating and difficult?

The answers to those questions become the basis for an individual plan, with or without medication. Your story is essential to understanding you and your needs.

What is revealed in your ADHD assessment is important to understand you and your ADHD better. Therefore, it is necessary for you to deliver it to the practice before your visit, either encrypted digitally, or by ordinary mail.

At a general medical and psychiatric practice, it is not only your ADHD that is the focus. Boundaries of treatment, restricted for example only to care for your ADHD, do not exist on CaroCare® Vård. In the case of ADHD, it is also common to have other symptoms, so-called co-morbidity. These could be, for instance, poor self-esteem or anxiety. By clicking on the green button below, you will be taken to CaroCare® Vård. There you can read more about the practice.
